We do not use force-based methods, and we do not label content “vet-approved” unless a named professional has reviewed it.

How our content is produced

  1. Sourcing. Each guide is developed from published veterinary and behavioural science: professional guidelines, position statements, and peer-reviewed literature. Where a specific claim depends on a source, the source is linked in the article.
  2. Scope. We cover owner-applicable behaviour, training, enrichment and preventive care. We do not diagnose illness or prescribe treatment.
  3. Method constraint. Only reward-based, force-free methods. Where the veterinary behaviour field has an established position — for example, that punishment should not be a first-line treatment for behaviour problems — our content follows it.
